KAMAT AND ROZARIO ARCHITECTURE

I was born on: 21st May

My favourite structure (designed by someone else): I admire the MIT chapel by Eero Saarinen.

I am inspired by: Inspiration comes from almost anything and everything from the design of a hairpin to that of a bridge. It also comes from seeing different places and cultures.

Architecture to me is: A fine balance of arts and sciences, imagination and reason.

I wish I had designed (and how would that have been different from now): The Bengaluru’s metro elevated track running through the city. I would have liked to create a context-sensitive metro.

My worst design: Every project is a learning experience in the journey of architecture.

My best design: Different projects have different architectural feature that I am proud of.

To unwind I: Read, travel and explore new places.

If I was not an architect: I can’t imagine myself doing anything else.

Society Interiors to me is: A great platform to showcase ones work and to come across interesting stories and ideas.
